FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

I am more than happy to answer any and all of your questions. I strive to make each experience as comfortable as possible and part of that is making sure that you feel prepared and well-informed in advance of the session. Below are some of the questions I receive most often.

  • How much do the pictures cost after the session?
I firmly believe that pictures are meant to be enjoyed. As such, all of my packages include full access to an entire gallery of high-res, edited pictures. You may download as many as you like. If you would like to order prints or products, you may do so directly from the gallery or using your downloaded copy.
  • How do we choose a location?
Once booked, I will share my extensive location guide with you to help you select the perfect location(s) for the shoot.
  • May I include my pet(s) in the photoshoot?
Absolutely! Furry friends are always welcome. Let's just make sure we choose a location that welcomes them as well.
  • What time of day should we schedule the session?
For outdoor sessions, the hour before sunset and the hour after sunrise is considered the "golden hour:" It is the most flattering light for outdoor portraits. That said, I know of a number of outdoor locations that will work during any time of day.
  • When do we need to schedule the senior photos?
Some parents prefer to have the senior photos in preparation for the Yearbook Senior Ads, which are usually due by the end of the calendar year. Start trying to schedule your session by early fall if you are looking to do that. Others prefer just to have them in time for announcements and Rush. These sessions should be scheduled at least a month in advance of when you would like the pictures. Book earlier to ensure your preferred time is available.
  • We would like to have a picture in our house but are afraid the lighting is not sufficient.
No problem at all! I have ample lighting and accessories to ensure flattering lighting wherever you want to go.
  • What type of equipment do you use?
I am a Nikon girl and shoot with their top of the line cameras and lenses. I also use lighting and accessories from Westcott.
  • Do you travel?
I travel throughout Central Texas for sports and portrait photography. I have traveled as far as Botswana taking pictures and will gladly go wherever you take me! Lifestyle pictures on vacation are the best pictures!
